X Novo Willamette Valley Chardonnay 2019

The 2019 X Omni Vineyard Estate Chardonnay features an expressive fragrance of lemon, citrus oils, and crème brûlée with an underlying element of modest stone fruits, minerality, and oak. A persuasive entry advances concentrated flavors of apple, pear, and tangerine with a touch of saline and delicate flinty reduction. At an attractive 12.9% alcohol, a core of lively acidity carries the wine to a centered, long finish. The 2019 X Omni Chardonnay was raised in 60% new and 40% neutral French oak barrels for 20 months and was bottled in July of 2021.
