The Meursault vineyard "Charmes" is located just south of the village and is known to be one of the climates producing the finest wines of the appellation. The mineral and well-drained soil is perfectly suitable for Chardonnay and the wines are opulent, with aromas of ripe peaches, apples and hazelnuts.
