Bodega Norton 101 Bubbles

The NV Bubbles Gruner Veltliner 101 from the Uco Valley was made using the Charmat method and built up its foam for 28 days. Steely light green. The citrusy nose offers hints of lime and sage. On the palate it’s explosive with broad bubbles, excellent freshness and taut power. The original sweetness remains (4.5g/L), while a phenolic dryness tickles the gums. Unusually among sparkling wines from Argentina, the flavors and aromas are entirely unexpected. - Vinous 90 Points
