Lurid violet. Ripe cherry, blueberry and vanilla on the expansive, spice-accented nose. Appealingly sweet black and blue fruit compote flavors show very good depth as well as energy and back-end lift. Finishes smooth, smoky and long, with subtly gripping tannins and resonating blue fruit character. This wine delivers fabulous value. Vinous, 90 Points.
